It was a great honor to work with the excellent creative director Tonya Sutfin and associate editor Erik Tormoen. We were proud to showcase the work of some of the area’s best writers, photographers, and illustrators. One of my favorite pieces to curate and assign was the Champions of Change feature in the Jan/Feb 2021 issue. We leaned into the changes happening around us during the pandemic and social unrest in the Twin Cities.
